Alhaji Mumin Salifu COP, popularly known as “Jack Sparrow,” has officially declared his intention to contest for the NPP Northern Regional Chairmanship position in the upcoming party elections.

Jack Sparrow’s campaign posters has since been out following his intent to contest.

He told Tolon Radio, ” Yes, I am going to contest the regional chairmanship race and I am going to win Insha Allah”.

The announcement has sparked excitement among party members across the Northern Region, with many describing it as a significant moment in the buildup to the regional polls.

Alhaji Mumin Salifu, a former campaign coordinator of Alan Kyeremanteng is widely recognised for his dedication to grassroots mobilisation and effective party organisation. Supporters describe him as fearless, innovative, and detail-oriented, qualities they believe will help strengthen the NPP’s internal structures in the region.

Some party faithful have also praised his leadership style, citing his team spirit, accountability, and strong communication skills as essential traits that could help consolidate the gains made by the NPP in the Northern Region.

Several delegates and supporters expressed confidence in his leadership abilities and described him as a unifier capable of bridging internal divisions and fostering cohesion among party members.

The NPP is expected to open nominations for regional executive positions later this month, paving the way for what political observers predict will be one of the most competitive regional chairmanship contests in recent years.
