Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the most prepared and winnable candidate to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the 2028 general elections, according to Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team.

Speaking on Eyewitness News, Aboagye emphasized Bawumia’s extensive experience, having served as Vice President for 8 years and as the NPP’s presidential candidate in the 2024 elections. He noted that Bawumia’s leadership skills, vision, and resilience make him a formidable candidate who can lead the party to victory.

“Bawumia is the most prepared, most formidable, and most winnable candidate for the NPP,” Aboagye stated. He added that Bawumia’s performance in the 2024 elections provides a solid foundation for the party to build upon, with a significant voter base that can be consolidated for victory in 2028.

The NPP is set to hold its presidential primaries on January 31, 2026, and Aboagye expressed confidence that Bawumia will emerge victorious.
