The Electoral Commission of Ghana has stated that the 2024 election will come off on Saturday 7th December.
The EC in a press release said the Commission has taken note of misleading information from a Presenter at Wontumi TV claiming there would be different voting dates for the Presidential Candidates in the December 7 general election.
The EC in the press release urged the Ghanaian public to disregard the misleading media report.
“The General Public is informed that the 2024 election will take place on 7th December, 2024”.
Meanwhile, Tolon Radio 102.7 have gathered that the Wontumi TV Presenter (name withheld) has since been questioned by the police.
