The Member of Parliament for Tamale North and Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways, Honourable Alhassan Suhuyini, has procured several essential materials to extend electricity to several communities in his constituency.
The items include six transformers, four trucks of electric poles, coils of wires, and other key materials needed to support the extension works.
The beneficiary communities are Gbrima, Wovugu, Wovugu Gumani, Nabtina, Kanvili Kpawumo, and Nanton Kpawumo.
Residents of these areas have expressed their profound gratitude to the MP, describing him as a God-sent leader whose commitment to improving lives continues to bring development closer to the people.
Honourable Suhuyini noted that access to electricity remains a major step toward boosting local economies and enhancing education and social well-being within the constituency. He stated that the move is part of the government’s broader plan to ensure inclusive development and equal access to basic infrastructure for all communities in Ghana.
The electrification project is expected to be executed in phases to ensure every targeted community is connected in due time.
