The Effutu Member of Parliament and Leader of the Minority Caucus in Parliament, Hon. Afenyo-Markin, has extended his congratulations to all five presidential aspirants of the New Patriotic Party who have successfully filed their nomination forms.

In a statement released on his Facebook page, Hon. Afenyo-Markin described the move as an important milestone in deepening the NPP’s internal democracy and strengthening the party’s traditions.

He encouraged the aspirants and their supporters to conduct their campaigns with unity, mutual respect, and decorum, warning against divisive politics. He stressed that the focus should remain on building a stronger NPP and advancing Ghana’s national development.

The Minority Leader expressed confidence in the party’s future, ending his message with the declaration that “indeed, the Elephant is a winning symbol.”
