The Member of Parliament for the Chiana-Paga Constituency, Nikyema Billa Alamzy, is set to embark on a two-day thank you tour across communities in the Chiana Traditional Area to express appreciation to constituents for their overwhelming support during the 2024 general elections.
According to a programme schedule released by the MP’s office, the tour will begin on Monday, June 8, 2026, and continue through Tuesday, June 9, 2026, covering 23 electoral branches in various communities within the constituency.
The exercise is aimed at giving the MP the opportunity to personally thank voters, party supporters, traditional leaders, and residents for the confidence they reposed in him during the election. The tour is also expected to provide a platform for engagement with constituents on development priorities and the way forward for the constituency.
The programme is being undertaken under the theme; “Unity, focused leadership, sustainable development, and collective progress”. The tour is expected to reinforce the bond between the MP and the people while promoting collaboration towards the development of the Chiana-Paga area.
