Management of the Soyalana Educational and Endowment Fund has announced to disburse funds to needy students in the Tolon Constituency, slated on Monday, September 8, 2025.

Established in 2021 by the Member of Parliament for Tolon, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, the fund provides financial assistance to brilliant but needy students to support their education.

So far, more than 1,000 students have benefited from the initiative, which has been described by many residents as a timely intervention that eases the financial burden on parents.

Fund managers say the support is part of efforts to expand access to education and empower young people in the constituency. Community leaders and education stakeholders have also commended the initiative, noting its contribution to human capital development in Tolon.

The Soyalana Educational Fund is expected to continue its disbursement exercise in the coming years, to reach more students across the constituency.
