The Member of Parliament for Tolon, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu has donated 6 laptops, a printer and a photocopier machine to the Tolon District Assembly.
The items comprises, 6 Hp laptops i5, 1 Hp laptop i7, Canon photocopier machine IR2425 and 2 Hp Laser jet printer M135a worth over Two hundred thousand Cedis (GHS 200.000).
The items were procured through the MPs share of the District Assembly Common Fund.
Making the presentation, the Tolon MP urged the assembly to work very hard to bring the needed development to the people.
Habib Iddrisu said, the donation forms part of efforts to enable the assembly to deliver on its administrative mandate.
The Tolon MP, who is the first duputy minority Whip in Parliament urged the staff of the Assembly to collaborate and support the District Chief Executive (DCE) to succeed. ” Let us support and guide the Honorable DCE to succeed, let us ensure that he makes a mark on his stewardship as the representative of the President”.
Mr. Habib added ” though I’m in opposition but I am still a leader in Parliament and so my doors are always open. So DCE any time you want to knock on doors let me know so that I can also make an input. We will collaborate and work together for the benefit of our people. We cannot compromise the development of our people” he assured the assembly
The Tolon District Chief, Hon Seidu Braimah thanked the Tolon MP for the donation and describe the presentation as very timely.
He said, the items will be put to use for the purpose been procured.
“The Assembly will continue to knock on your doors for support as we prepare to bring development to our people” Hon Seidu added
