The Electoral Commission has finally presented the certified voter register for the 2024 elections to all political parties.
According to the EC Chair Madam Jean Mensa, the certified voter register is robust and credible, ” is fit to deliver a free, fair, transparent and peaceful election”.
In a press release she stated”At the meeting of IPAC on the 15th of October, we indicated that this presentation would be made to you at the end of the first week of November; however, with the help of God, we’ve been able to deliver it two days before the end of the week. Ladies and gentlemen, following the re-exhibition of the revised provisional voter register, the commission received a total of 158 issues from registered voters across the country and is pleased to note that all the issues have been resolved”.
“I’m pleased to note that we now have a robust and credible final certified Voter register which is fit to deliver a free, fair, transparent and peaceful election”. She added
The various political parties’ representatives received a copy each for their political parties.
