The Member of Parliament for the Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Nurudeen, has announced that all 87 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament have unanimously endorsed the re-election of the party’s General Secretary, Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua.

Addressing party faithful during a meeting with constituency executives in Salaga North and Salaga South, Alhaji Nurudeen described Mr Kodua as the most suitable candidate to continue serving as General Secretary, citing his experience, commitment and impressive track record in office.

According to the Nalerigu/Gambaga MP, the NPP cannot afford to lose a leader of Mr. Kodua’s calibre, especially as the party prepares to reposition itself for future electoral contests.

He said the General Secretary has demonstrated exceptional leadership by strengthening the party’s organisational structures, enhancing internal coordination and providing effective administrative direction since taking office.

Alhaji Nurudeen noted that Mr. Kodua’s achievements have earned him the confidence of the party’s parliamentary caucus, explaining that the unanimous endorsement by all 87 NPP MPs is a clear indication of the trust and confidence they have in his leadership.

He made the remarks when he joined Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua’s campaign team on a tour of the Salaga North and Salaga South constituencies, where the team met with constituency executives and other party stakeholders.

The visit formed part of Mr. Kodua’s nationwide engagement with grassroots leaders as he seeks another term as the party’s General Secretary.

The meeting provided an opportunity for party executives to interact with the General Secretary, discuss issues affecting the party and reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the NPP ahead of its internal elections.
