Anger as MTN network in Northern Region goes off

Scores of residents in the Northern Region have expressed anger Telecom giants MTN after their network went off for several hours without any official communications from the company.

Tolonradio.com checks revealed that the network went off at around 2PM on Tuesday, 16th June 2026 and has not been back since then forcing many of them to resort to other networks in the area.

Many residents in the Northern Region said they have not been able to access network for hours without a word from the service provider. Here are some comments on social media….

The telecom giants are yet to react to the concerns of the users as at the time of publishing this piece, residents were still without network.
