A youth group in Tamale, calling themselves Concerned Youth Of Tamale Central have locked up offices including the OPD at the Tamale central hospital, now Regional hospital for mismanagement of the facility.

The leader of the group, Abdulai Saha Naa, alleged that, the managent of the facility mismanaged the hospital.

They alleged that, the hospital lacks basic consumables such as cotton, gloves, syrings among others, reiterating that, the state of the hospital needs urgent attention.

According to him, they are a concern youth and it’s their duty to fight for the rights and well-being of the good people of Tamale .

He concluded by saying that, they no longer recognize the current management staff of the facility, therefore, insisted on changing new management of the hospital.

In an interview with one of the staff at the hospital, Mr. Abu Issifu Iddrissu said, “I traveled almost a week and half today, I just returned this morning and to my surprise, these people came and told us that they are locking the offices, so we should pack our belongings and leave the office. So I tried to calm them down but unfortunately, they did not pay any attention to us so we have to pick our belongings and leave the office”.
