The Minority Caucus in Parliament has held its Second Strategic Pre-Opening Workshop ahead of Parliament’s resumption for the Third Meeting of the First Session of the 9th Parliament.

The workshop provided a platform for members to deliberate on key national issues, review legislative priorities, and strengthen coordination before the commencement of parliamentary business.

Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, Honourable Alexander Afenyo-Markin, in a post on his Facebook page, said the session was designed to help the Caucus strategise and build consensus on critical national matters.

He noted that discussions focused on economic management, good governance, and social welfare, adding that the Minority remains committed to promoting accountability and effective representation in Parliament.

The Third Meeting of the First Session of the 9th Parliament is expected to commence later this month.
