The Member of Parliament for Tolon and First Deputy Minority Whip Hon Alhaji Habib Iddrisu has called on the people of the constituency to spread love, joy, compassion, peace and togetherness as part of the Eid Al Adha celebrations.
Speaking at the Tolon Sports stadium to marks this year’s Eid-Al-Adha celebrations, the Tolon MP added that, the festival is not just about offering sacrifices but also showing compassion, peaceful coexistence and forgiving one another.
Eid ul-Adha (‘Festival of Sacrifice‘) is one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar. The festival remembers the prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son when God ordered him to.
Hon Habib Iddrisu affectionately called Soyalana who joins hundreds of Muslims at the Tolon Sports stadium urged the poeple to pray for the betterment of the Tolon constituency.
” As we celebrates Eid-ul- Adha to today let us continue to be each other keepers and remains resolute in our commitments of peace and development”. He urged
“Again, as we make strides to bring the necessary develompment to every corner of the constituency, I invite all and sundry to the Tolon project. Wherever you are, come and let us work hard together for the betterment of Tolon constituency”. He solemnly added
