Hollistar Duah-Yentumi Esq., the former Managing Director of the State Insurance Company (SIC), has taken legal action against the company following the termination of his contract. The lawsuit challenges the circumstances surrounding his dismissal, though details of his claims remain undisclosed.

Duah-Yentumi’s tenure at SIC was marked by a lucrative compensation package. According to sources, he received:

A basic monthly salary of ₵70,000

An annual clothing allowance of ₵84,000

A monthly entertainment allowance of ₵7,000

Official residence with free utilities

₵3,000 for a house help

₵3,000 for a security guard

₵2,000 for a gardener

Free healthcare for his spouse and five children

An official V8 vehicle with 450 litres of fuel per month.

The case has sparked public interest, with many questioning executive compensation at state-owned enterprises. SIC is yet to release an official statement on the matter.
