Former Vice President, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has donated 250 packets of roofing sheets totaling 5,000 pieces along with ridge caps, to aid traders affected by the recent Kantamanto Market fire.
The donation was presented on his behalf by former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, and his team.
Earlier, the former President presented among of GHS 200,000 to assist the traders in their recovery.
The donation is aim at supporting the reconstruction efforts by traders.
The Kantamanto market traders have started rebuilding after the inferno that engulfed the market some weeks ago.
