The Muslims Council of Ghana, Northern Region has called on Ghanaian youth not allow themselves to be used by politicians to foment troubles in the upcoming December 7 general election.
They advised the youth to reject any form of inducement by politicians to create anarchy and confusing during before and after the election.
They noted that, the youth should be seen as ambassadors of peace and not agents of political violence.
In a communiqué adapted and issued after a peace durbar with stakeholders held in Tamale, the Muslims Council Ghana urged the Muslim youth to follow examples of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
The Muslims Council in the communiqué called on all Ghanaian and stakeholders to work collectively to ensure peaceful and transparent processes at all levels of the elections.
