Desist from voting “skirt and blouse”- Chairman Wontumi entreats NPP

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has entreat members of the NPP to avoid voting skirt and blouse in the December 7 Elections.

He urged party faithfuls to vote massively for both NPP Presidential Candidate Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and their respective Parliamentary Candidates to prevent the current situation in Parliament.

On Thursday the Speaker of Parliament RT Hon Kinsford Sumani Alban Bagbin declares 4 seats vacant thus making the NDC 136 majority and NPP 135 Minority, a ruled which has since been reversed by the Supreme Court, Friday.

Chairman Wontumi speaking on Wontumi TV said the NPP leadership in parliament is suffering because of skirt and blouse voting in the 2020 elections and therefore expressed his disappointment with the trend. of

“This is a clear indication that voting skirt and blouse is not a good thing for any political party to deliver,” he emphasize

The maverick Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman urge NPP members to desist from voting skirt and blouse.

“It is crucial that we unite as a party and ensure that our members vote in a manner that supports the NPP across all levels.” He said
