Member of Parliament for Tolon and deputy minority chief whip, Hon. Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, has written to the Presidency requesting an update on investigations into the August 6, 2025 aircraft crash that claimed eight lives, including two serving ministers of state.
The victims included Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and other senior officials.
Hon. Iddrisu, citing Article 21(1)(f) of the Constitution and the Right to Information Act, said Ghanaians deserve to know the outcome of the probe announced by government in August.
He urged the Presidency to release the full report or an interim update to demonstrate transparency and accountability.
The August 6 crash remains one of Ghana’s most tragic air disasters in recent years.
