Information reaching Tolon Radio suggest that Alhaji Ibrahim Seidu, an engineer by profession, has bow out of the NDC Tamale Central election primary , joining Halid Abdul Rauf, a lawyer and National Vice Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), who earlier withdrawn from the race.
His withdrawal reduces the confirmed aspirants to 12, down from the initial 14. Nominations close today, Sunday, August 24, 2025, while filing is set for Thursday, August 28, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, according to the Electoral Commission.
