Management of award-winning Ghanaian musician Ahmed Mujahi Bello, known in the showbiz as Fancy Gadam, has announced the postponement of his upcoming birthday celebration, originally scheduled for August 16, 2025, in Tamale.
According to a press statement released, the decision follows last week’s tragic helicopter crash in Ghana, which claimed the lives of eight prominent individuals, including the Honourable Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Murtala. The accident has cast a shadow of grief over the nation, particularly in the Northern Region.
In a statement issued today, management expressed that the loss had “deeply affected us all” and stressed the importance of standing in solidarity with the bereaved families during this difficult time.
“Out of respect for the grieving families and in solidarity with the entire nation, all celebratory activities will be put on hold until further notice,” the statement read.
The management team also extended heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of those who lost their lives, praying for their souls to rest in perfect peace.
