President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission by Article 195 of the constitution.
Her role will involve overseeing the regulation of upstream oil and gas activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering partnerships to maximize the benefits of the petroleum industry for Ghana’s citizens.
Her appointment takes effect on 17th January 2025 as directed by the president in a letter signed by the secretary to the president.
