Unknown thugs has assaulted Shaibu Abdallah popularly known as Dj Dallas, a radio prsenter at Tolon Radio.
Dj Dallas was nearly lynched as he was left unconscious by his assailants.
The incident occurred behind his house last night Sunday 12 January 2025 around 9pm to 10pm. The radio presenter was returning from Tolon to his home in Nyankpala after a radio program.
Narrating the incident on his hospital bed, Dj Dallas said, he was about to enter the house when someone hit his head with a big stick and he fell down from his motorbike and then the rest pounced on him and beat him mercilessly with sticks and other weapons.
According to him, the thugs left him when they realized he couldn’t breath again, thinking he was dead.
Dj Dallas said, the unknown thugs disguised themselves and he couldn’t even recognise one of them as he was laying lifelessly on the ground.
We gathered that, Dj Dallas was laying on the ground for about 20 minutes before a good Samaritan came to his rescue and together with some people took him to the Tolon District Hospital for treatment.
It is not yet establish why the unknown thugs assaulted Dj Dallas as he is known to be very lovely and affable person in Nyankpala and its environs.
Meanwhile, the issue has since been reported to the Tolon District Police for investigations.
