The member of parliament for Tolon Constituency Alhaj Habib Iddrisu has ended his campaign tour of all the 125 communities in the constituency.
The tour was to afford the MP to reach out to the constituents and also to re-affirmed his commitment towards the development of the area.
Throughout the tour, the communities gave testimony of how the MP fulfilled the social contract he signed with them on 7th January 2021 as their elected member of parliament.
They opined that he executed his part of the contract diligently by been actively involved in all the development projects that came to their communities.
Most of the projects were to bring improvements in the lives of the people.
The development projects were categorised into upgrading of roads, classroom blocks for their basic schools, maternity rooms, connecting almost all the communities that were in darkness to the national grid, employment opportunities to a large number of the youth, financial support to students in tertiary institutions, scholarships to students for graduate studies in Ghana and outside Ghana an AstroTurf playing field, Community Centre, library and various support to needy people.
At the grand finale campaign at the forecourt of the Palace of His Eminence the paramount chief of Tolon, the MP reiterated his unflinching commitment to continue to do more for the constituents when he is reelected as their MP on 7th December 2024.
He told the teeming supporters that he is not alone in the contest. He is in the contest with H.E. Alhaj Dr Mahammud Bawumia the NPP presidential candidate so he is calling on all those who shall vote for him on 7th December 2024 to do same for the presidential candidate.
He admonished them against skirt and blouse voting. He intimated that when H.E.Alhaj Dr Mahammud Bawumia is elected the president of Ghana and he Hon.Alhaj Habib Iddrisu is elected as the MP for Tolon, then the constituents have won a bingo because he would be in good standing to bring more than expected development projects to the constituency.
He likened the relationship that would be between him and the president to the wise saying that when your mother is in the kitchen preparing a meal you are hopeful of a splendid service of the meal.
The campaign continues unabated until Hon.Alhaj Habib Iddrisu is elected as the MP of Tolon Constituency with a yawning gap of more than fifteen thousand votes on 7th December 2024.
