The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu, Hon. Atta Issah, has donated water pipes to the communities of Kpene and Namandu to support the extension of pipe-borne water to residents.
The intervention is expected to help address water challenges in the two communities, where many households still struggle with access to clean and safe drinking water.
Hon. Issah said access to clean water is a basic human right and should not be seen as a privilege. He explained that the donation formed part of his commitment to ensuring that every household in Sagnarigu enjoys access to such an essential service.
The MP commended the Assembly Member of the area for receiving the materials on behalf of the people and for his continuous efforts in championing local development.
Residents expressed appreciation to the MP, describing the gesture as timely. They noted that the provision of the pipes would not only ease the burden of water scarcity but also improve living conditions, especially for women and children who often travel long distances in search of water.
Hon. Issah assured the people that similar interventions would be rolled out across other communities in the constituency, stressing that development requires unity and collective effort.
