Over 300 needy within the Tamale metropolis have benefited from the benevolence of the Overlord of Dagbang Ndan Ya Naa Abubakari II to celebrate this year’s Eid-Ul-Adha.
The needy including people with disabilities (PWDs), widows, orohans and the poor received food items, including rice and meat.
Every year the Dagbang Overlord made donations including supportimg and feeding the poor to mark Eid celebrations. These donations are aimed at supporting the needy in diverse ways and in making sure that the poor celebrates the holy feast festival just like any other person.
Again, the generosity of Ndan Ya Naa towards the needy is for Dagbang good and prosperity.
Speaking on behalf of beneficiaries, the former Mayor of Tamale, Hon Alhaji AYMB Ibrahimah thanked the Overlord of Dagbang for his kind gesture and inspiring the needy in society.
” Every year, we benefit from the generosity of Ndan Ya Naa, this year he slaughter a huge cow for us and gave us rice in addition to celebrate the sallah. We are veey grateful to our King and We pray for Allah’s blessings upon him. Long live Ndan Ya Na, long live Dagbang”.
