Alhassan Abdul Hafiz is a determined and passionate hand amputee footballer who plays for Gamama fc in Tamale.

Despite losing his right arm, Hafiz’s love for football remains unshaken. He shares his remarkable story of resilience and aspiration to become a professional amputee footballer.

He narrates his story:

“After the accident, I felt lost and thought my dreams of playing football were over. But I refused to give up. I began playing with my left arm, adapting my skills and learning new techniques.

“Football is my life. I love the thrill, the challenge, and the camaraderie. I’ve played with able-bodied teams, but I realized my true calling is in amputee football.”

“My ultimate goal is to become a professional amputee footballer, representing Ghana in international competitions. I want to inspire others with disabilities to chase their dreams, no matter the obstacles.”

“Of course, there are challenges. Finding resources, training facilities, and competitions for amputee footballers is tough. But I’ve received support from local clubs, coaches, and fellow players. Every small victory motivates me to push harder.”

Hafiz’s unwavering spirit and dedication serve as a beacon of hope for aspiring amputee footballers worldwide.
