Mammoth crowd joins Tolon MP on Health Walk

Thousands of NPP supporters in the Tolon Constituency of the Northern Region join the MP for the area, Hon Alhaji Habib Iddrisu on a massive health walk ahead of the December 7 elections, Sunday.

The crowd that greeted the health walk was estimated over 30, 000 supporters of the NPP from all the 24 electoral areas in the Tolon Constituency.

The event also attracted some supporters of the NPP from Tamale and friends of the MP in solidarity.

The mammoth NPP health walk sent shivers down the spine of the opposition NDC as the December 7 elections approaches, delivery a strong message signaling a massive win for the NPP.

The streets of Tolon were painted with NPP colours as supporters clad in party paraphernalia amidst singing, dancing and chanting of party slogans marched through the Tolon streets in elation and high spirits.

Addressing the enthusiastic NPP supporters, the Northern Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Adam Samba said, the good works of the MP has been translated through the crowd that shown up  for the health walk.

Chairman Samba urged the people to vote massively for the NPP in the upcoming elections to retain the incumbent Tolon MP for more development.

The incumbent MP for Tolon, Hon Alhaji Habib Iddrisu affectionately called Soyalana thanked the mammoth crowd for their commitments and loyalty towards the party’s fortunes.  He reminded them to do the needful by voting massively for him and the party’s Presidential Candidate Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 2024 general elections.

The Tolon MP hinted that, Tolon NPP will garner more votes in both parliamentary and presidential than any other constituency in the Northern Region. He reiterated that, the Tolon Constituency will soon become a stronghold of the NPP.

According to him, he will lead the NDC parliamentary candidate with over 20,000 valid votes cast in the December 7 elections.

The incumbent Tolon MP, Hon Alhaji Habib Iddrisu beat the NDC parliamentary candidate with over 9,284 (58.37%) valid votes cast in the 2020 elections.

The NPP Tolon Health Walk was attended by some big-wigs of the party including  General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammed,  Northern Region Minister, Hon Shani Shaibu, MP for Yendi, Hon Farouk Aliu Mahama, MP for Mion, Hon Abdul Aziz Ayaba, MP for Bimbilla and Minister of Defense, Hon Dominic Nitiwul, MP for Sisala East, Hon Amidu Chini Issahaku, Presidential Staffer, Napaga Tia Sulemana, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Savelugu, Hajia Abdul Aziz Fatahiya, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale North Hon Alhaji Abrey, NPP Sagnarigu Parliamentary Candidate Madam Felicia Tettey, Founder of Girls Girls for Samira Bawumia Hajia Fey Gomda and some party executives.
