Dear Citizens of Yendi
My heart is full today, full of gratitude for the trust you have placed in me for the past four years, full of love for Yendi, and full of resolve. The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for, but we have every reason to thank Almighty Allah for His grace.
To my beloved family, I love you so very much. To my hardworking team and executives, thank you for your faith and support. I am so proud of the race we ran. And the way we ran it. I congratulate my brother, Abdul Fataw Jofa Esq. and wish him well in his service to the good people of Yendi.
To fellow patriots, when we fight, we win. But here’s the thing, sometimes the fight takes a while. That doesn’t mean we won’t win. The important thing is don’t ever give up. Don’t ever give up.
