Mr. Paul Adom Otchere through his lawyers, Dame and Partners has filed a Judicial Review Application at the General Jurisdiction Division of the High Court seeking quashing orders against the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) for a “Notice to Declare Property and Income”.
In his application filed on the 23rd day of October, 2025, Mr. Adom-Otchere attaches the said notice of the Office of the Special Prosecutor and the letter of his lawyers in response to same wherein Mr. Adom-Otchere raises legal grounds suggesting that the Special Prosecutor does not have powers it purports to exercise under the said letter attached to the Judicial Review Application against the Special Prosecutor.
Mr. Adom-Otchere therefore seeks a declarative relief that the “Notice to Declare Property and Income” dated the 4th day of August, 2025 served on Mr. Adom-Otchere is unlawful and a quahing order against the said notice from the OSP. The application of Mr. Adom Otchere also seeks restraining orders against the OSP from detaining Mr. Adom-Otchere for failure to respond to the said notice deemed as unlawful by Mr. Adom-Otchere’s application.
