The Sabaare community in the Zabzugu District of Ghana’s Northern Region came alive with joy and appreciation on Friday when the Anta Next Generation Foundation made a significant donation to the local CHPS Compound.

The Foundation, led by its Executive Director Mr. Alhaji Mohammed Shani, presented a consignment of essential medical items including hospital beds and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) delivery bed to strengthen healthcare delivery in the area.

The presentation ceremony drew community members, health workers, traditional authorities, and officials from the Ghana Health Service, all gathered to celebrate a milestone many described as a major boost to Sabaare’s struggling healthcare system.

For years, the facility has faced challenges such as overcrowding and inadequate equipment, often forcing residents to travel long distances for basic medical care.

In his remarks, Mr. Shani highlighted the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to improving lives through health and social development projects.

“Healthcare is not a privilege, it is a right that every human being deserves,” he stated. “Our aim is to ensure that communities like Sabaare are not left behind in accessing quality medical care.”

He also encouraged the health personnel to continue serving with dedication and called on residents to protect and preserve the donated equipment for the benefit of future generations.

The Chief of Sabaare, on behalf of the traditional council and the people, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation. He described the intervention as timely and transformative, adding that it would greatly ease the pressure on the local health facility and enhance service delivery.

“This gesture represents more than just a donation it is a sign of care, compassion, and renewed hope for our people,” the Chief remarked.

The ceremony ended on a high note, with jubilant drumming, dancing, and smiles all around, as residents celebrated what they called a “turning point” for healthcare in Sabaare a moment that marked the beginning of improved health services, stronger community support, and a brighter future for all.
