In a bid to foster stronger collaboration and accelerate development in the Northern Region, the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Ali Adolf John Mburudiba, met with senior staff of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC) on Friday at the NRCC headquarters.

The high-level engagement marks a significant step in the Minister’s commitment to inclusive governance and results-oriented leadership. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Minister to interact directly with senior officials, understand their various roles, and outline a unified vision for regional progress.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ali Adolf stressed the importance of communication, teamwork, and mutual respect in public service. He encouraged staff to make use of his open-door policy, noting that transparency, accountability, and accessibility must be the hallmarks of effective leadership.

“I want all of us to work together. Come to my office whenever you have ideas, feedback, or concerns,” he said. “Let’s build a region that reflects the hopes of our people.”

The Chief Director of the NRCC, Mr. Sumaila Ewuntomah Abudu, also spoke at the meeting, emphasizing the need for renewed work ethics among staff. He called for greater commitment to punctuality and professionalism, noting that these values are essential for boosting productivity and achieving institutional goals.

In his remarks, Hon. Adolf reminded staff of the importance of political neutrality in public service, urging them to focus squarely on their responsibilities. “Let us keep politics out of the office. Our work must be grounded in service, integrity, and dedication,” he said.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with staff expressing appreciation for the Minister’s approachable and visionary leadership. They also appealed for improved logistical support to enhance their performance.
