Chairman Abronye DC granted GHS 50,000 bail

Bono Regional NPP Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC, has been granted bail by the court in the sum of GH¢50,000, with one surety, without justification.

Lead counsel, Mr. Daniel Mantey Addo, disclosed that Abronye’s health condition has deteriorated, and news of the bail has brought him some relief.

The legal team is currently taking steps to meet the bail conditions to secure his immediate release.

The Bono NPP Chairman, on Saturday 8, September 2025 was arrested on a charge of “offensive conduct conducive to a breach of public peace.
